TOURNAMENT EVENT OPTIONS
Big events for the best players
Mid-South Major Championships are tournaments you qualify for by playing in other tour events throughout each season.
Majors take place in April, July, October, and December in 2024
Ways To Qualify for a specific Major:
- WIN 2 tournaments within 12 months prior to a Championship (min. 5 in your division competing)
- WIN or Place (2nd or 3rd) in any Major Championship within the past 12 months of a specific Major
- Be A Top Player in the SEEMORE CUP Player-of-the-Year race (in points) within your age division before a Major takes place (# determined by available spots - announced one month out from each Major)
SeeMore Cup points are TRIPLED in all Major Championships!
Better Player 36-Hole Tournaments
PHENOM Series tournaments for for those players that can break 90 on a consistent basis for 18-holes during competition. (Shooting 89 or lower in all events 6 months prior)
Mid-South's PHENOM events highlight the better players on our tour and are highly competitive. Yardages are a bit longer in these events for most or all age divisions.
Any tour player 10+ can play in PHENOM tournaments.
SeeMore Cup Points are doubled for these events!
All Tour Players Can Play
Open tournaments are completely open to all member tour players, 5-19 years old.
Open events are 2-day tournaments, and either 36-hole or 18-hole competitions depending on your age division.
TROPHIES are handed out to the Top 3 scoring players in all age divisions! (minimum 5 players participating)
Great Tournaments for Beginners & 1-Day Players
Mid-South's Ace Tournaments are 1-day events that are meant as a starting point for beginner players who are just starting to play competitive golf.
ACE 1-Day events are also an option for players that cannot play in 2-day tournaments.
9-hole and 18-hole options are offered, based on your age division.
All Winners in Ace events receive a TROPHY, even in the 9-hole age divisions! 2nd and 3rd place players receive medals.
Our Growth
In 2023 Mid-South grew with lots of new players. In '24 we will grow our footprint by offering tournaments all across Tennessee, Alabama. Mississippi & Arkansas!

Our events are a bit low key compared to other tours out there. That is by design, as family friendliness is a huge priority. We want everyone to enjoy themselves!

Not just in the game we love, but also helping to teach positive lessons through golf that easily transfer to other areas of life. We desire to help students play the game with excellence, and to make competitive golf available to any young person that desires to play affordably.
OFFERING LOW FEES
Most competitive golfers & families attempt to play in as many tournaments as possible. We realize that, so our entry fees are as low as possible. So low that you may be able to play in 2 or 3 of our events for the same amount that other junior tours charge for only 1 event.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
Mid-South is now offering a FAMILY MEMBERSHIP system - allowing ALL junior players from the same household to become a tour member for ONLY $49* a year!
ALL EVENTS COUNT
All 2-day Mid-South Golf Series events count toward JGS* national rankings. All 1-day & 2-day tournaments count toward SeeMore Cup (POY) points.

Mid-South Golf Series Divisions
Divisions overlap age-wise to give parents & players options on skill level & age range to compete against.
Example: A 15-year-old beginner/medium skill player may opt to play against younger players in the 15U division,
while that same player who has advanced skills may opt to play in the older division (14-19).
We do allow a player to change division once per year, if necessary.
Oldest & best tour players
BOYS & GIRLS 14-19 DIVISION
Age cutoff is July 31, 2024 (whatever your 'age' is on this date is your 'offical age' for our tour for the entire season).

Majors/Phenom events - 6,200-6,700 yards
Open & Ace events - 5,900-6,400 yards
GIRLS 14-19
Majors/Phenom events - 5,800-6,200 yards
Open & Ace events - 5,500-6,000 yards

OPEN events are 36-holes at various courses throughout our region.
ACE events are 18-holes for all 14-19 competitiors.
For players usually between 12-15 years old
