MUSIC CITY CUP HIGHLIGHTS:

EVENT FORMAT

All players will play 45 holes over 2-days
27-holes on Saturday, 18-holes on Sunday
Ryder Cup 4-Ball; 1-POINT per HOLE (not per match); tied holes are halved
All holes are played; no 'close outs' or round stoppages

PLAYER & TEAM MAKE-UP

Teams are made up of 2 players each. Players invited will be from the following age groups:

BOYS 14-19 (16 players)
BOYS 15U (4 players)
BOYS 12U (8 players)
GIRLS 14-19 (4 players)
GIRLS 15U (4 players)

*Players/Families only have a certain amount of time to accept their invitation once presented, then spots offered to other players.

Tee-times begin 8am: Saturday, Nov 2

Tee-times begin 9am: Sunday, Nov 3

SPECTATOR CARTS

$30/Sunday & $20/Saturday per cart, per day fee (limited availability)

YARDAGES

These are approximate and can be altered based on course conditions & weather each day of the event:

BOYS 14-19 (6400 yards)
BOYS 15U & GIRLS 14-19 (5900 yards)
BOYS 12U & GIRLS 15U (5300 yards)

CART INFORMATION

PLAYERS & CARTS

Golf bags will be allowed to be carried on family/parent carts throughout the competition for all players. Carts are not to be driven by, nor used for transport of players & are not included in entry fee.

PACE OF PLAY

SATURDAY PLAY

Each 9 holes needs to be completed within 2:10 (2 hours, 10 minutes) without exception. Squad parents or tour staff will approach groups that are behind pace so that unfinished holes aren’t halved.

ALL WINNING TEAM MEMBERS RECEIVE A SQUAD CHAMPIONSHIP AWARD

We will also hand out awards for age-group based team scoring (for the most points over the 2 days of the event). WINNING TEAMS in each division will also qualify to play in the 2025 BORDER BATTLE event versus the Kentucky Bluegrass Tour!
